Color-Blocking in the Fall is so fun! If you are scared of the color-blocking trend color-blocking in the Fall is way less intimidating! The colors are less "offense" because they are more subdued. Would you try color-blocking in the Fall? I am sure I will be doing it all through fall and winter.

Fall Revisited

I am so excited about the FALL!! The colors, the layering, the crispness!!! Absolutely love! Here is one of my favorite outfits to sport during the fall! I am sure that I will be wearing this time and time again! Also, I am trying different things with my hair! I am currently "transitioning" when an one goes from having permed hair to natural hair! So I am practicing protective, heatless styles! What do you think? I love the vintage-ness of the bouffant look!

On an aesthetic note, I apologize for my beautiful recycle bin in the background it's just the natural beauty that comes  with dorm life and I just wanted to share it with ya'll :)

Where Have I Been?

Hi guys...I am so sorry for the absence for the past month. School has been crazy crazy crazy this past month. If you are in college or were in college you know that getting into a good rhythm with school takes a little time. It usually takes me about a month to get comfortable with class and my school and work schedule. I believe that I am in a good place with my schedule and I can come back to the blog with full force. I believe I will be able to put up a blogpost about once a week. However, I have been taking some pictures during this month I just haven't had time to put things up.

I tried out some different glasses from Warby Parker, this really cool website that has trendy glasses frames and lenses for only $95 and has a great "Buy a Pair, Give a Pair" Program that gives glasses to someone in need. They have this really cool thing called "Home Try-Ons" were you can try-on 5 pairs of their glasses for free for 5 days. I tried on a couple of frames and I still haven't been able to figure out which ones I want.

Black Rock

My college announced that the Childish Gambino was coming to our school for the annual Fall Concert!!! I am CLEARLY over-the-moon I absolutely adore him! And not just because of his rapping abilities (which are amazing) but also because he is HILARIOUS. He plays Troy Barnes on my favorite sitcom, Community and he used to write for Tina Fey's show (and another of my faves) 30 Rock. 

If you don't know who he is...you NEED to! He is absolutely amazing and crazy talented! I will attach one of his most popular songs from his Camp album at the end of this post. I would personally love if everyone became a Gambino Girl like myself ;) however, if you are not ready for that level of fan-girldom I would suggest listening to: LES, That Power, Firefly, Freaks and Geeks, and Sunrise!

However to the point, he has this phrase that he uses for the his type of music called "Black Rock" (which is explained by Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino at the bottom of the post)! I have prepared what I think will be a perfect "Black Rock" inspired outfit for the concert coming up!!! I hope this outfit inspires you!
